Oh, the joy that relatives bring! And the annoyance that they bring before they even get here! You'd think they'd never seen mess before. My Grandma is coming over from England tonight, and all we've done all day is tidy up. I've finally got an hour's break.
I've recently discovered a thing called BOINC. It uses the CPU you don't use to do research. I'm currently looking for aliens and finding out the shapes of different proteins in order to help cure diseases such as HIV and cancer. It might slow down the computer a little, it's certainly a good cause.
I've also tried to use DeviantArt. Unfortunately, although I'm 99.9% sure I haven't used it before, I apparently have been blocked. Anyone who can help, feel free to do so.
Not a lot of time today. Revision, homework, and tidying up call!

No time to post yesterday, I was out at Rangers, playing pooh ducks. It's a variant of pooh sticks, using decorated plastic ducks. The best bit is when we get the ducks out of the stream, as it rebounds off of someone, falling back into the stream. Repeatedly. But the USS Duckprise won two out of three races. Then we cooked chocolate bananas, whilst playing uno.
Today I started the dreaded revision. I'm pretty sure that I'll fly through Chemistry ( I always have had a natural talent for it. So long as I remember to add units, I'll be fine with Physics. The problem is, my Geography tends to end up looking rather like one of O'Brien's repair jobs. My other subjects are alright, and I'll probably be alright with them. At the moment I'm doing Latin. (amo, amas, amat, amamis, amatis, amant) which involves learning googlagons of words. Then I have to do a Biology sheet for homework. And its now 2100H - i.e. the end of my shift. So now I'll be heading off to my quaters.

So here's my first blog entry! You'll notice that its title is a tos Stardate, based roughly upon the Gregorian calendar - DD/MM/YYYY becoming YYMMD.D, With the first Y omitted if it is a 0.
I am a trekkie, yes. (I prefer trekkie to trekker - respect to the Great Bird Of The Galaxy!) trek is my life, although Doctor Who gets a small space in there too! My current obsession is DS9, simply the best series ever, and when Star Trek XI comes out, I'll be first in the queue to buy tickets.
Enough general stuff. You learn better from example! Today, I went to school (zzzz) where a) in Tennis the ball went at 'Warp 10' b) in English my story revolved around a Russian named Chekov, c) in French I am going to go play on my computer with Spock (Je jouerai au ordinateur avec Spock) d) In History the Schlieffen plan reminds me of a Star Trek episode. (Brilliant ideas, but something always goes wrong!(Mind you if it didn't it'd be mighty boring!)) e) In Geography, 'Klingon is an example of globalisation - It is spoken my many people all around the world, and is frequently conversed in at international conventions.' Need I carry on?
So anyway, I will be writing analyses of everything that happens to me...well not everything. I'd be here until the Bajorans stop fighting the Cardassians! And every post, I will analyse one Trek episode...but not this post, because it's late and I have school (zzzz) tomorrow. and I have to write a story entitled 'Magic in the Forest'. Joy.

Live Long And Prosper (For now on known as LLAP, to save pixels!)
